Whether looking to feel better or get fit, our approach tailors your pilates or personal training session for maximum effect.

 

Rehabilitation

We have successfully worked with people who are in pain, helping them to both move safely and feel better.

If you are injured, here's the way your trainer will work: he/she will perform a thorough assessment of your posture, alignment and habitual movement patterns to ascertain where change can occur to make you feel better as quickly as possible.

Over the first few sessions you will receive a carefully designed individual program focusing on the relief of pain and tightness. Using core alignment fundamentals, correct breathing, assisted, static and active stretching, and core-strengthening exercises your body will learn to use healthy joint biomechanics and neuromuscular recruitment patterns. As your bones and muscles move with more efficiency and ease, you'll advance to more difficult levels of pilates/personal training and your overall movement will reflect your improved posture, dynamic strength and flexibility.

 

Fitness

Training is a ritual that sets you up to be more focused, mindful, healthy, and strong. Fitness sessions begin by focusing on where you are weakest and on expanding your strengths. We'll push you on the mat, on machines, with weights and on all pilates equipment to build core strength, lean muscle tone, and flexibility while gaining a thorough understanding of classical pilates with a contemporary approach, sound weight training technique, and functional athletic movement. You’ll get a deeply-felt workout to improve your balance, stability, strength, coordination, power and endurance.

  • Private Pilates - 55 minutes

    Breathe deeper and get lean 

    Using matwork, all Pilates machines (the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Barrel) and assorted props, you'll get a full-body workout that integrates core stability, enhanced posture, dynamic flexibility, and overall strength. Pilates will help you breathe deeper and get your body tuned, focused and moving to start your day off right; heal those nagging aches and imbalances; and reach your goals.

  • Personal Training - 55 minutes

    Get stronger and feel better

    Using free weights, cable-resistance, weight machines, cardio equipment, and stability-challenging props, you'll get a thorough workout that increases your energy, develops your agility, builds your strength, and simply feels great.  Refresh your usual routine with uniquely challenging programs designed specfically for your body, and reinvigorate your physical presence and well-being.
